Three of our top picks were on point yesterday: shorting IWM with TZA, long GLW, and short MSTR. However, there were significant failures also including SATS, BULL, AAOI, and especially SMR which crashed 12%. AVEX was also called out in the Discord yesterday afternoon and this failed as well. The top two picks of short IWM and GLW resulted in significant profits for most community members but for many of us who also had exposure to the above other names, it just wasn’t enough.

Macro Discussion
Yesterday’s downgrade to yellow alert was spot-on and we’ll be holding there for at least one more day.
AVGO, a key AI infrastructure stock, reported disappointing earnings yesterday, and there was a big inside sale reported with MU. These factors could mark a local top in the SOX semiconductor index and in turn QQQ. Also, IWM was down 1.37% yesterday due to oil jumping back above the 20 DMA but is curiously up slightly this morning, indicating a possible rotation into small caps. However, with oil above the 20 DMA, we don’t think this move can last. IWM did bounce off $286.50 candle support yesterday but a move to the 20 DMA at $284.70 seems probable at this time.
Yesterday our yellow alert was just about hedging longs. Today, we are more firmly in yellow-alert territory. It may be a good idea to raise cash, trade less, and be extremely selective in long ideas.
